Equine Assisted Therapy is still NDIS funded!

Most support coordinators have been saying no to equine therapy requests for over a year.

They thought it wasn't funded anymore and they're right.

But Equine Assisted Therapy, delivered by a qualified counsellor, is still funded.

The distinction is real, and most coordinators don't know about it. Got a participant who loved horses? You can say yes!

Got a participant who is nonverbal? You can say yes!

Got a participant who hates sitting in a room? You can say yes!

We bill under Improved Daily Living, line item 15_043_0128_1_3 for counselling.

It just happens to be outdoors, with horses.

Plan-managed and self-managed.
